In my last blog post, I mentioned that I started to get into the 10-step Korean skin care system because my skin was so dry. I have also purchased some new Korean/Japanese skin care products to replace the ones that I ran out of or could not use during my pregnancy. Ever since I started implementing the regime, I have definitely noticed that my skin was getting better; it’s hydrated, plump, bouncy and glowy! So for those who want to have healthy, youthful skin, this post is for you.. 🙂
I feel like I have mentioned this so many times in my videos and blog, that my skin has been very, very dry. Thankfully I have not been getting any acne spots, however, dry patches, redness, dry tight skin were the re-currring issue that I have been dealing with since this Winter and being pregnant. I was doing some research to find ways to combat it, and then I came across the 10-step or layering Korean skincare system.
I could possibly be the last person that ever heard about this system, because when I was doing some more research into it, it seems like this has been such a trend everywhere. Whether you’re into Korean beauty or not, if you want that healthy, supple and glowy skin that these Korean girls have – this post will worth a read.
Skincare Routine | May 2016 : For those who are battling acne-prone skin, hyper pigmentation & acne-scarringMay 14, 2016 - Beauty, Skin care, YouTube
Hello beautiful friends,
How’s everyone doing? I hope everyone is having a great day so far! I am actually currently in Toronto, visiting my brother and also our friends here, and obviously stuffing our face with lots of good food.. 🙂
Today, I am sharing with you my skin care routine. I have quite a normal skin, it does get a little dry during the Winter time, and it gets a bit more oily during the Summer. However, I have a very acne-prone skin, certain ingredients just don’t work well with my skin [which I’m still trying to figure out what it is], and during that-time-of-the-month, my face is basically a breakout zone. With having a lot of acne, another issue that I’m dealing with is the leftover scarring. Most of the time, the scars just stay for months and months. Not to mention, some sun spots or hyper-pigmentation.
Acne has just always been an issue that I’m dealing with ever since I was a teenager. However, hyper pigmentation, or stubborn acne scarring, to be exact, is a rather new issue that I have started dealing with two years ago. I am not sure exactly if it’s because of the move to USA [you know, different country, different water, different soil, something is different in the air) OR it’s simply hormonal changes after I stopped breastfeeding [sorry TMI] my son. Whatever it is, I feel like this became a serious issue since then.
Still in the spirit of New Year, today I would like to share with you the best product discoveries that I made last year. I did not try too many products, to be honest. But these products that I will mention, either older products that I discovered last year or products that were launched in 2015. As you can see, there is a good mixture of make up and skin care products. So I’ll tell you why I love these babies so much!
Hello beautiful people!
I hope your day is going great so far! Today, I want to share with you a really exciting post.
Me and my son, we have been really enjoying the warm weather; we go out a lot, play at the park, have a picnic, do water play at the backyard – basically we have been outside, in the Sun a lot these days. I always apply sunscreen in the morning underneath my make up, however, I can not re-apply my sunscreen on top of my make up when I am going out again in the afternoon. All of the spray-on sunscreens that I found always say “do not spray directly on face”, and there is no way I am applying a thick sunscreen cream/lotion on top of my make up – it will be a white, hot mess.
Then a couple months back as I was walking around Sephora (as I usually do, a lot), I found these products – and I was like “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL THIS TIME??”.
After a whole day of school, work, kids, whatever your business is, the thing that you want to do is to just go straight into your bed and snuggle up under the blanket. However, even though we are asleep, our skin can still benefit from our skin care ingredients. Hence, I have a few products that I know will work as I sleep, so that when the morning comes, my skin will be soft and nicely hydrated. So, here are the products on my bedside table..
I am not exactly sure how it happened. But it did. Basically, my empties (beauty product trash) bin is no longer empty. I have finished up a lot of skincare, hair care as well as make up products.
In this post, I will share with you all the skin care products that I have finished up and what I think about them. It is a long one, make sure you are comfortable, get some drinks and snack. Are you ready? Lets get crackin’ ..
So, as you all probably know Sephora just held their spring/VIB sale last week. And actually, this month is also my birthday month – hence, a lot of shopping trips was made, and quite a lot of stuff was brought home.
If you want to see what I had bought and what I think about most of the stuff [since I have had them for a week now], then just click on the video..
I am sharing the rest of the products that I have used up recently on my YouTube channel. I just want to quickly say THANK YOU for checking out the first video, meant a lot for me! :,)
Anyways, don’t forget to grab a drink and a comfortable seat. I really hope you’ll enjoy it! Read More
